Tomes Karaoke

Terms of service

Back to karaoke

Tomes Karaoke is a small, private, non-commercial web application for collecting karaoke song requests and running a live queue.

Effective date: 13 August 2026

Using Tomes Karaoke

Please use the app respectfully and do not interfere with the queue, other guests, or the service. Guests are responsible for the names and song requests they submit, including making sure they are suitable for the gathering.

YouTube and third-party services

Karaoke search and playback rely on YouTube. Playback uses the standard YouTube embedded player, and use of YouTube content is also subject to the applicable YouTube Terms of Service. By using Tomes Karaoke's YouTube-backed search or playback, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service where YouTube's API policies require it.

Tomes Karaoke does not own YouTube video content and does not download, copy, re-host, modify, or redistribute YouTube videos. Other services used to operate the app, including Supabase and Vercel, have their own terms and policies.

Availability

This is a best-effort personal project. The app, video search, or playback may occasionally be unavailable or not work as expected. We do not offer a commercial warranty, guarantee, or service-level commitment.

Please do not rely on Tomes Karaoke for anything important beyond the event. If the service is unavailable or a request cannot be played, we cannot take responsibility for resulting inconvenience or loss.

Changes to the service

We may change, pause, or stop the service, and may update these terms, as needed for this personal project.
